Release of Sony Alpha A350 in Singapore
Gadget News
Thursday, 06 March 2008

Sony released Sony Alpha A350 in Singapore during the annual IT Show event. The Alpha A350 is available in body only package at $1,199 SGD. For more details, please see Sony's website . It is surprising to note that Sony Alpha 300 is not available for sale according to the brochure. Perhaps Sony realised there is no significant difference between A200 and A300 and A300 will most probably dilute the demand for A200.

Oh my god! I should have waited for Alpha 350 instead of Alpha 200 that I bought for $1075 with kits lens! I dont need the kit lens !!  For an extra $100, I can have a DSLR with live view and 14.2 MP sensor! Anyway, below is a nice video of Sony Alpha 350 advertisement.

Interesting Review on Sony Alpha A350
Gadget News
Wednesday, 06 February 2008

The following video shows an interesting review of the Sony Alpha 350 by Dave Etchells of Imaging Resource . In the video, he will describe the layout of the controls in Sony Alpha A350 and also talk about the various functions.

Also note that Sony Alpha A350, A300 and A200 share almost the same kind of body. The only differences between A200 and the 300 series are the Live View Function and the Live View Display Panel while A350 boasts a higher pixels packed sensor. Those looking into having a DSLR without the Live View Function should just look at Sony Alpha 200 as these 2 higher end models do not significantly show any stronger performance.
